George Nichols, CPA, Vice President for Finance

George Nichols joined VTLS Inc. in June 1989 as Director of Finance and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in July, 1996. Mr. Nichols is responsible for the administrative and financial activities of VTLS Inc. and its subsidiaries.

He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Virginia Tech and became a certified public accountant in 1976. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Before joining VTLS he worked for a national public accounting firm, served as chief financial officer for a regional airline, and has been an internal auditor at a major university.

Mr. Nichols has served as a member of the adjunct accounting faculty at New River Community College (NRCC) and has been on the NRCC Business and Technologies Advisory Committee for the past two years.
